Cristian & Natalia

Hi there! We are Cristian & Natalia, visual contemporary artists based in Romania and the UK. As a couple, we have also grown together as artists and passionate travellers, exploring new cultures as part of our understanding of the World.

We became interested and passionate about the arts starting from the early stages of life, sharing similar experiences as self-taught approaches at the beginnings, and later progressing to higher education, both having BA and MA degrees from Art Universities and later on PhD titles for researching the art world in specific topics.

Sharing these experiences leads us to different artistic techniques, each suitable for the specifics of each experience, that emphasize a unique moment in time. As part of our travels, we realized that besides photography, one of our mediums of expression, watercolour and graphic techniques are in most ways associated with more intimate experiences that are worth sharing with the world.

From the travelling point of view, Tenby and the surroundings actually found us, a place rich in history and flooded with dramatic lighting. We hope that through our watercolour prints, you as a public will enjoy these incredible places and experiences as much as we do, and we hope that our works offer a narrative that is simultaneously seductive and appealing.
